This seminar will cover the fundamentals of Benchmarking and Comparative Analysis (B&CA) as a management and improvement method that has been very successful in various industries. These methods can be used to determine “where you stand” relative to your competitors and to others in your industry or performing similar processes. They can also provide the motivation for major reengineering breakthrough changes when your organization realizes what their competitor or the industry has achieved and the effect that would have to their organizational results and their market standing. Different levels of comparisons are discussed, starting with simple output measures and then processes themselves need to be analyzed to determine how to accomplish “best-in-class” results. Workshops will be included to reinforce the learning experience.
